Meeting the Picasso of Pierre Herme Paris
Internationally acclaimed pastry chef Pierre Hermé, dubbed “The Picasso of Pastry” by Vogue magazine, visited Qatar for the first time to celebrate the success of his first boutique in the Middle East in a unique event. Open in 2013 in Lagoona Mall, the Pierre Hermé Paris boutique has become locally renowned for its macarons, chocolate and pastry offerings. On the evening of November the 9th, the Pierre Hermé Paris boutique was transformed into an exotic garden that brought the flavors of Pierre Hermé Paris’ macaron and chocolates to life. The event highlighted the exceptional ingredients used by the chef to create his outstanding desserts. The most admired flavors of the evening were the macaron “Infiniment Citron Caviar”, macaron “Truffe Blanche et Noisette”, and macaron “Marron Glacé”, three of the Chef’s signature flavors from the end of year collection as well as some of the iconic flavors of Pierre Hermé like Ispahan, Mogador, and Satine. The event was attended by a number of VIPs, Pierre Hermé Paris enthusiasts and media.

The Pierre Hermé Paris boutique in Qatar offers a wide range of unique chocolates in 16 flavors, as well as various hot chocolate flavors and chocolate tablets, ideal for chocolate lovers. The boutique also features Pierre Hermé’s specialty, macarons, in 12 different flavors and flavor combinations changing with the seasons, along with a delicious variety of pound cakes and jams. Pierre Hermé Paris has over 45 boutiques, across 12 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
