FMM by Fatma AlMulla | A Journey of Inspiration Part 1
Every human has been blessed with a talent. Many of them discover their talents early, while others take time to find what they really enjoy doing. I decided to start this journey to discover talents, find out about their success secrets to inspire myself and others, and to take a moment from my life to appreciate the people around me. Fatma AlMulla is a graduate of visual communication from the UAE. I find her ideas quite inspiring in the fact that she uses elements from around her life and converts it into visual statements of fashion and trend.
Here's the little interview I had with her:
Kay: Hi Fatma, A pleasure to get to interview you! Let's get straight to our mission of inspiration! When did you realize that designing was your cup of tea?
Fatma: At a very young age, I was always into coloring and arts and crafts so when the time came to eventually choose a path in life, It was either art/design or law, so I chose design.
So looks like Fatma seems to belong to those people who really knew what her likes were since young! :-)
Kay: What is the most important thing to you?
Fatma: Family is very important to me!
Kay: Who is your best friend in the fashion industry?
Fatma: Famous fashion designers that I look up to for inspiration
Kay: How do you get inspired?
Fatma: From everyday life, the society and culture that I live in. Travelling also helps a lot.
Kay: What makes you unique?
Fatma: Everyone is unique in their own special way but what makes artists like me different is the way we look at things, paying attention to the extra details.
Kay: How would you define passion?
Fatma: As an obsession and a full-time job!
Kay: What was the best advice you ever received?
Fatma: To Always be humble and listen to everyone around me and to stay positive no matter what.
Kay: An advice that you would like to give your fans!
Fatma: Always stay positive! Be open-minded when it comes to lessons of life. If you have a passion or a dream then go for it; It will consume a lot of time and energy but that's what you need to go through to reach your goal.
There is no greatness without a passion to be great, whether it's the aspiration of an athlete or an artist, a scientist, a parent, or a businessperson." — Anthony Robbins
