Answer to your South East Asian Cravings - The Noodle House

Hello Folks! How are y' all ? Last week I received an invitation to dine at The Noodle House in City Center. I opted to go in on a Tuesday, and made sure to order different dishes. The welcome I received from the moment I entered the restaurant to when I left it was truly heartwarming. I particularly enjoyed the recommendations of the waitress who was truly hospitable in spite of the chilling winds and being almost close to frozen that day.

For the appetizer, we ordered chicken satay, and seafood siew mai both of which we cleaned the plates to the last bit. We had our orders coming in one at a time, so we had enough time to enjoy each and the dishes could be had warm.

We ordered the Roast Duck Wanton Soup after our appetizer. It was my first time going to have a duck, and the soup cleared me off my fears of trying it. It was truly delicious , and one of the best choices we made that day. It was a bit bland to my taste but they had many different signature sauces available which I added to the soup, and they were exquisite with those flavors.

For specialties,we opted for Black pepper beef , Cantonese Roast Duck, and Butter Prawns.

The Black Pepper beef was recommended by our waitress, and it was our favorite - Great flavors, and well done.

Last but not the least, we ended the day in dessert - Chocolate Lava Cake. It was out-of-this-world. It was served alongside coconut ice cream which I truly adored, and has kind of turned into my new craving ever since then.

On a side note, don't miss their prawn crackers! It is a fun bite for all day - lunch, dinner, tea, breakfast, midnight snack - you name it!
